Today, we had our consultation. Wahidah gave us comments and suggestions again and we too realised some inaccuracy here and there. Will get it fix up of course :)
Needless say, our packaging is progessing too. I hope everything will turn out perfect.
Other than that, we still need to put in our narration. It's around 95% done now. I'm glad we're still on time.
Go Big bearian!

Interim 2
Interim 2 today and our video has the ending scene added and of course, audio. Music plays a big part in a video and it did help to push our comedy film a little more.
Everything is more or less inside except for opening title and credits, narration. Raymond and gary will take charge of this and sarah and i will carry on with the final packaging. We have a very interesting idea on how to present the final product. I am very excited to see the ending product.
At the mean time, our video is still progressing and i'm looking forward to the final edit and screening.

Tombstone
After all the shootings were done, Sarah, Raymond and me headed over to the school studio to get Luke's tombstone done. We make use of cardboard and plaster.
At first, Raymond started measuring and cutting up the boards. Together with Sarah, they taped it all up and form a shape of a tombstone. Then, Sarah and i, together with Zaihai's help, we made the plaster and added black dye in it.
It took us half the day to finish it. Everything went smoothly though and we left the tombstone to dry. It gave us a rough texture and a grayish color. Overall, i think it's quite a good job done. It looks real!

Interim 1
Today was interim 1. We showed Wahidah our very first rough cut. She gave us some comments and suggestions. We also explain our shots, and meaning behind each scene. There's still scene we haven't add in for example the ending scene of Luke's tombstone, audio and all the narration.
I'm sure our comedy will work as i myself laughed at it. We will definitely improve on it as it's only the rough cut. We have ideas on how to edit it and we believe that we can achieve a higher level of humor through the editing.
The video will be more or less done by the second interim.

Production Day 4
Sarah's house today! It's a very quick and easy shoot. We got the lighting right and set up all the props. As it has to be a hand held shot, Gary had quite a few problems while shooting. However, as a big bear cameraman, nothing can come in his way. He still got the shot done right and nice. Good job Gary.
Luke brought all his army stuff over which he claimed that it's very heavy. And suddenly Sarah brought up that her BROTHER is a guy too. Which means, he will definitely has the same army stuff as Luke. Poor Luke. He really sacrifice for us. Haha.
After the shoot at Sarah's, we headed over to Bedok Community Centre for another shoot. Alvin was there to act as Luke opponent for badminton. Thanks Alvin for his help.
And it marks the ending of our production days. I must really thanks everyone for their help. Without them , our film can never be made. And thanks Gary for being such a professional cameraman.
Be in store for Big Bear Production's first comedy film!
Production Day 3
Shoot today was in the "office". We make use of level six room as there's cubic dividers. This time, Raymond became the manager. Great suit he wore. And of course, Luke was in formal as well, but again, messy. I'm in the film too! I acted as Luke's colleague.
This time, Raymond needs to fall. Yes, umpteen times till we get a good shot. And guess what, he did it! And, he REALLY DID fall down that's why we got that good shot! It's evil but all of us laughed. It's too sudden and funny. The most important thing was Gary got it recorded down. Great job Gary. Alright, great job too Raymond :D
We had fun shooting today and yes, moving on to the next shoot at Sarah's house tomorrow.
Production Day 2
Today, all of us together with our main cast Luke, gathered in the school studio for shoot. We literally turned the whole studio to a gallery with paintings and statues in display. We got all our props ready and make sure everything is perfect.
Raymond took up the role of Gaston and he really tried so hard to be just a gay. I should say, good job Raymond. You do have the potential to be one (:
Not only Raymond, Luke really gave us his best too. Beside messing his appearance up, we threw paints on him and he fell umpteen times just to allow us to capture the best shot. We must really thank him after the production.
Everything went well today. We packed up and prepared for the shoot tomorrow.

P2 Post 3
We presented our ideas for project. Our first idea is a romance story, adapted from the song Tell Laura I Love her. Our second idea is about a man who is very messy in everything he does.
Basically, we're much more confident about our second idea, and it is more well established and thought of. The audience and lecturer preferred the 2nd idea too. Although it is a potentially good idea, it will be a huge challenge for us, especially in areas of set design/ art direction, and camera work.
We were told that we did not have a story that is solid enough. However, we already thought of the story beforehand. We discussed and edited the beats and storyline such that it will fit into the ten minutes, tell a full story but yet not too long or complex for a short film.
